A 16-week, lab-guided program for women 40 and over

Menopause weight gain has a reason. Find yours, without medication.

You eat well, you work out, and your doctor says your labs are normal. A full hour with the doctor, line by line through a comprehensive panel, shows why your body is holding on to the weight. Then an exact plan to fix it.

Why “normal” labs still gain weight

A standard physical checks a handful of markers. Menopause changes the ones it skips.

Thyroid

TSH alone misses it. Free T3, reverse T3 and the conversion between them is where it goes wrong after 40.

Insulin

Rises years before glucose does. A fasting insulin shows it. A standard physical does not run one.

Cortisol

The wired-and-tired pattern: 3am waking, puffiness, weight that will not move however little you eat.

Thyroid, insulin and blood sugar, cortisol, inflammation, iron, B12, vitamin D, metabolic and lipid panels and a blood count, drawn in Bellevue or at a lab near you. Then a full hour with Dr. Mary Klimek, in person or virtual, going through every marker and what to do about it. Yours to keep whether or not you continue.

See every marker and why it matters after 40
  • Thyroid: TSH, free T4, free T3, reverse T3. TSH alone misses most thyroid-driven weight gain.
  • Blood sugar and insulin: fasting glucose, fasting insulin, HbA1c. Insulin rises years before glucose does.
  • Cortisol: the stress pattern behind 3am waking, puffiness and weight that will not move.
  • Inflammation: hs-CRP. Low-grade inflammation blocks fat loss and drives the joint pain that arrives with the weight.
  • Iron and nutrients: ferritin, iron, B12, folate, vitamin D. Low ferritin and low vitamin D look exactly like a slow thyroid.
  • Metabolic, lipids, blood count: CMP, lipid panel, CBC. What is safe to change, and where a fatty liver shows up first.

Who reads your labs

Dr. Mary Klimek has spent her career on the question most women 40 and over get a shrug for: why the body stopped responding. She reads the full panel, explains it in plain English, and builds the plan from what it shows.

No medication is prescribed here. When a result belongs with a prescriber, you’ll hear that plainly and get a referral.

How the 16 weeks work

Labs first

The comprehensive panel, drawn in Bellevue or at a lab near you. Results in about a week.

A full hour with Dr. Klimek

Every marker explained in plain English, and what is driving the weight named.

Your protocol, then maintenance

Food and timing built on your results, supplements only where a lab calls for one, and 2 to 3 check-ins a week with a real person. A maintenance plan so week 17 does not undo week 16.

What it costs

Nobody is asked to decide on a 15-minute call. The first paid step is small, and it counts toward the rest.

The 8 to 16-week program

Built to what your labs show, so the length and the price depend on what you need. Shorter programs start at $1,200; the full 16 weeks is $2,895. Labs included either way. If you started with the $297 review, it comes off the price.

Payment plans and CareCredit are available. HSA and FSA funds can be used.

“By the time I tried Skinny Seattle I was exhausted and barely sleeping. Dr. Mary reviewed my lab results far beyond the surface-level ‘normal’ ranges my primary care doctor had always accepted. Most importantly, I feel like myself again.”

Before you book

Do I need to stop HRT?

No. The program works alongside whatever your prescriber has you on, and when your labs show something they should see, we coordinate with them.

Is this a GLP-1 clinic?

No. No medication is prescribed here. This program is for women who can’t take a GLP-1, don’t want to, or tried one and stopped, and who want the cause addressed.

I’ve tried everything. Why would this be different?

Because it starts with your labs, not a menu. Most programs guess at the cause; this one measures it, then builds the food, supplements and accountability around what your numbers actually show.

Does insurance cover it?

Insurance does not cover the program. HSA and FSA funds can be used, and CareCredit and in-house payment plans are available.
